Demographics

Location

DHS will be located at 640 Evenhouse Rd. in Lake Alfred, FL. We have purchased 55+ acres and are in the process of building an 80,000 square foot campus to house our students. We chose this location because the property is adjacent to the current school, Discovery Academy. This will allow us to serve the same student population areas as the middle school, and allow both schools to share needed resources.
 

Diversity

At DHS, our educational model will benefit students with diverse backgrounds and interests. Due to the high level of choice at DHS, we will be able to ensure that many student interests are addressed. In addition, those students with diverse backgrounds will also highly benefit from the curriculum compared to local high schools. By providing our students options from college and career planning to the ability to participate in internships and community service projects, all students will have options when they graduate from DHS that will lead to a successful, productive life.
