Student Athlete Expectations

• Discovery students who join our athletic program are held to a higher standard. Student-athletes are expected to be leaders and ambassadors for the school. We expect our students to exemplify the character and citizenship of a DHS Spartan. Being a member of an athletic team is a great way to be involved with the school and community.
• In order to play a sport you must complete a physical (EL2) and parent consent form (EL3) annually. Physicals are only valid from June 1 – May 31 of each year. These forms are available at the front desk and must be completed prior to the first day of tryouts, practice or conditioning.
