Full-Time Drivers for the 2024-25 School Year

(In order to apply, you must have a CDL license with a Class A or B which includes school bus/passenger endorsements. Applicants need to be willing to attend a county mandated training class to become certified, if not currently eligible to drive for the Polk County School District.) $18 an hour with a guarantee of 25 hours a week. Extra drive time is available for “Being There” experiences, sports program, etc.. Full-Time Drivers that have prior experience can be credited for up to 10 years verified service driving for a public, private and/or charter school. Each verified year will add to the base rate of $18 an hour.

Part-time Drivers (Substitutes) needed also for the 2024-25 School Year.

Extra drive time is available for “Being There” experiences, sports program, etc. as needed throughout the year.

FT…$18.00 an hour with a guarantee of 25 hours a week.
PT…$18.00 an hour based on need throughout the year.
