Timeline

Our authorizer is the Polk County School Board who is the only entity capable of authorizing our charter. Our organization has maintained a 14-year relationship with the county including multiple renewals. We have consistently maintained a productive relationship with the county and look forward to expanding this relationship as our organization grows.

Further construction of our high school campus will be ongoing from December 2016 thru June 2019. The projected schedule for DHS is as follows:

Year 1 – 2016-2107 – 300 students, Grades 9 and 10

Year 2 – 2017-2018 – 550 students, Grades 9, 10 and 11

Year 3 – 2018-2019 – 800 students, Grades 9-12

Year 4 – 2019-2020 – 950 students, Grades 9-12
